ABOUT US

The Cross of Calvary Church Ipswich (formerly known as Family Worship Centre Ipswich) is committed to taking God’s Redemption Plan – the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ – the Message of the Cross to our nation. 

We do serve as both a local church and International Missions ministry. Our vision is to see souls come a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and Him crucified (Romans 3:23 KJV; John 3:16 KJV; 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV). 

Our mission is see to see souls saved (John 3:16 KJV) and baptised in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with an unknown tongue (Acts 2:4 KJV); for saints to live a holy life according to the Word of God (Romans 12:1-2 KJV); to train up those who are called by God to preach the Gospel of Christ crucified in the ordinances of his Holy word (2 Tim 2:15, 20, 21b KJV).

The Cross of Calvary Church Ipswich is the home church and also coordinates the Christian Ladies Breakfast Ipswich and Blackstone Country Gospel Music Festival.  We would like to welcome you to what we feel is one of the warmest, down to earth, most loving families in Ipswich.  More than anything else we want to you feel part of our family as we worship and serve our Lord Jesus Christ.

We stand ready to serve you, to love you, to encourage you, and most important, to lift up the glorious name of Jesus Christ to our community.

REVIVAL RALLIES

The Cross of Christ Revival Rally Australia 2024!

The Leadership Team held 2022’s Revival Rally during 7-10 April 2022 at the United Church of Tonga, 80 Samford Road, Leichhardt Qld 4305 was a success and the conference grew in number, we also had over 100 on-line attendees tuning in via Facebook LIVE streaming.

Please allow us the privilege of joining our faith with yours in prayer. We believe that God answers prayer and we will keep your information in strict confidence.

WHAT WE

BELIEVE

  • The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. ( Ps. 119; Mat. 4:4; Lk. 24:27 )
  • There is one God, eternally co-existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. ( I Jn.5:7 )
  • In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His Virgin Birth, in His Sinless Life, in His Miracles, in His Vicarious and atoning Death, in His Bodily Resurrection, in His Ascension to the Right Hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this Earth in Power and Glory to rule a thousand years. (Jn.1:1-4;Eph.2:13-18;Rev.Chpts.19-20 )
  • In the Blessed Hope – the Rapture of the Church at Christ’s Coming. ( I Thess.4:13-18 )
  • The only means of being cleansed from sin is through Repentance and Faith in the Precious Blood of Christ.( Rom.5:1;Eph.2:8-9,13-18 )
  • Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal Salvation. (Jn.3:5-8;Titus 3:5)
  • The Redemptive Work of Christ on the Cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.( Ex.15:25-26;James 5:14-15;I Pet.2:24 )
  • The Baptism with the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to Believers who ask for it.( Acts 2:4;10:44-46;19:1-7 )
  • In the Sanctifying Power of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.( Rom.6:3-14;8:1-2,11 )
  • In the Resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to Everlasting Life and the other to everlasting damnation.( Rev.20:5-6,11-15 )

WHAT MUST I DO TO

BE SAVED?

This is the most important question in human existence and one whose answer is clearly outlined in scripture. In order to be saved we must first realize our true state of sinfulness before God and know that He alone can save us, cleanse us, and give us eternal life. Scripture tells us that Jesus is the only way and we can not have access to God through anyother means. In fact, in John 14:6, Jesus plainly stated…”I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”God Loves You!God loves you so much that he made a way for you, through the shed blood of his son so that you might be able to spend eternity with Him. “For God so loved the world that he gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life” ( Jn. 3:16 ).
